El mundo Kiss tiene algunas nuevas y prometedoras noticias:

Ya se puede escuchar un avance del tema "Moder Day Delilah" (la cual suena muy bién y al más puro estílo clásico de la banda: un riff solido y memorable, con un melódico verso), perteneciente al próximo álbum de Kiss, que llevara por título "Sonic Boom".

Y es que la verdad ya nos debían algo de música nueva las "criaturas de la noche"; pues con la excusa de que "los discos nuevos ya no son tan rentables", mandaban al carajo a los fans. Recordemos que el irregular y meloso "Psycho Circus" data del año 98 (¡ya hace más de diez año sin un nuevo álbum de Kiss!).

Según un redactor de la revista Guitar Player que tuvo la oportunidad de escuchar alguna canción, el título del nuevo lanzamiento de las Criaturas de la Noche será "Sonic Boom" y verá la luz el próximo 6 de octubre. Wall-Mart será probablemente la encargada de ponerlo en circulación en el mercado americano, al igual que lo hicieron AC/DC o The Eagles.

¿Y a qué sonará este nuevo material? Según el propio Simmons: "no strings, no keyboards, no synths, no tambourines, no nothing, just meat and potatoes. Classic Kiss"

A pesar de que Ace, y Peter no están involucrados en la banda, el disco promete ser aceptable. Para mi, el disco solista de Paul Stanley "Live to Win", tenía muy buenos momentos. Asi que posible que este "Sonic Boom" cumpla; aunque no estoy muy seguro del titulo, suena algo chafa.


A su vez, el gran "Space" Ace Frehley edita también su nuevo trabajo titulado "Anomaly".

"Sonic Boom" will be released in North America at Wal-Mart and Sam's Club stores on October 6. The three-disc package will include a CD of the band's first new music in 11 years, re-recorded versions of famous KISS hits and a live DVD.Paul Stanley told the Associated Press the band chose to release the album at Wal-Mart because the store allowed them to make it memorable."They offered us an opportunity to do something that's very much in line with what we used to do with our classic albums, and that's to give people more than just an album of music," Stanley said. "We've always believed in trying to make an album a special event.""Sonic Boom", produced by Stanley in Los Angeles, will retail for $12, with pre-orders starting in September on Walmart.com.
